Vasiliy (Vas) Abramov joined CreoSalus in 2005 and became President of Occam Design in 2013. He has an established record of high performance in multiple venture-backed and private investor-sponsored technology companies. Two of the companies have made the Inc. 500 list. Vas graduated from the University of Louisville (U of L) with a BS in Mechanical Engineering 2001. While at U of L, he started his engineering career at MedVenture. He started with CreoSalus by leading the development of a new and innovative peptide synthesizer. After a few years, Vas started a medical device department and recently became the President of Occam Design, a medical device division of CreoSalus. He graduated from UofL with a MS in Engineering Management in 2010. Vasiliy has over 20 patents issued or pending and has successfully developed more than 30 life science products. He played vital roles in other medical device firms including MB Device (Voght award finalist), Cobra Stylet and Ouchless Needle.
