Who is Thuramed? They are a team of engineers who are instrumental in the creation of the Tetras Peptide Synthesizer. Their team designed, manufactures, distributes, and services the Tetras Peptide Synthesizer and other peptide-related equipment. Not only did they create the Tetras Peptide Synthesizer, but they also have products that support Tetras. These products include reusables, accessories, and a plan to expand their line of peptide synthesizers and peptide-related equipment.
So what exactly IS the Tetras Peptide Synthesizer? It is the only asynchronous device on the market capable of performing various chemistry on up to 106 separate peptides simultaneously. Its modular design virtually eliminates cross-contamination while ensuring that the user can experience nearly 0 downtime during any process. With the flexibility to synthesize widely variant peptides simultaneously without delay in previously begun peptides to begin completed.
There are currently three main types of peptide synthesis models offered: the Standard Tetras, the Tetras Standard with additional Volo, and the Tetras Volo Plus. Depending upon which model you choose, you can have up to 32 external stations or 32 internal stations, with any number in between. In most cases Thuramed’s stations are sold as 8 and 24 injection stations, with multiple sizes of reactors in small, medium, and large. Currently, Thuramed is working on adding heating to the machine and this new device will be released this year! All of these pieces work together to synthesize peptide products.
